Climate Risk & Hazard Modeling
TCFD-aligned exposure assessments, hydrodynamic flood and slope-stability models across multiple climate scenarios.
In Practice
From hazard model to exposure metric
Climate risk only matters once it's translated into a decision someone can act on.
I lead end-to-end climate risk assessments — from hazard modeling through to asset-level exposure metrics — under multiple RCP/SSP scenarios, aligned to TCFD reporting requirements. That means building the hydrodynamic and slope-stability models themselves, then standardizing how their outputs roll up into decision-ready exposure indicators.
- Led TCFD-aligned climate risk assessments for 500+ assets across floods, landslides, and extreme rainfall.
- Built hydrodynamic flood and slope-stability models in Python and QGIS to produce forward-looking risk maps.
- Assessed climate risk for an agribusiness spanning the Philippines and Indonesia, integrating crop-sensitivity with temperature and precipitation anomalies.
- Supported scenario-based flood and volcanic hazard modeling, processing large raster datasets for baseline and future-climate runs.
